My old 70 or 80's Caloric oven locked and I cannot...

Question

it does not have a digital display or anything fancy. i just turned it on and was being dumb and decided to clean the handle off, and like i normally do i moved the lock lever over to clean both sides, but the oven was on and now i have waited for over an hour and it still wont open. i turned it off right away when i realized what i did. any solutions? my dinner is in there!!!
