I've had this bike for the longest time and it never really got any use. Its been rarely used because it has just been sitting in my garage. I want to start getting into road racing. My question is should I use this bike for a little bit or am I better off just buying a new one. Price is a BIG deal to me, I don't want to spend a lot of money.

The only picture of the bike I could find is this

The only difference is that mine doesn't have the strip of metal covering the wheels.

  1. If the bike was made of Carbon then you shouldn't use and old bike, but if it is made of metal it should be ok.

you should check the condition before you start road racing.

Sorry, I can't open the link so my snswer may not be specific..

  2. That isn't a road bike. It's a low end hybrid. The shifters tell all. So do the fenders and tires.

If you want to get into road racing, you'll have to buy the right kind of bike.

  3. yes that is a hybrid you can tell 1 because of the fenders and shifters but just look at the bike....road bikes are very aerodynamic and that is quite obviously not.... buy a good road bike and if your good and win some races if there are cash prizes like there are near here then it will pay off now wont it =)

    GO CARBON!!!
