She's a russian blue not really that old she's 6 yrs old. She has a very shy and mellow personality. When I brush the carpet with my hand right in front of her she walks sideways and then charges my hand with a small bite. Then she moans and wants to make up and not fight. Why is this? There's a little bit of fistyness going on lol. We have a good relationship for years

  1. I wouldn't do that she might like you playing with her.

And you may like it too.

  2. That's how cats play. My cat pounces on all his toys. He loves playing predator. That's what she's doing with your hand and she loves you so she wants to make sure that you know she's playing. One of my cats loves dental floss too. I wave it in front of her and she comings running and pounces on it. Your cat might like that too. It's just how cats play.

  3. Sounds like she's trying to play with you. Thats how all cats play. I don't think she's "fighting" with you at all.

    Good Luck

  4. That's very normal for a cat. However, they say that you shouldn't play with your hands, use a toy or a piece of string.
