My old router broke, can I just buy a new one to replace it? Is it hard to change settings?

I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to networking. Any advise would be helpful

better let someone familiar with routers cause the new one needs reconfiguration

depend as well if wireless or otherwise.... however it may need a bit of patient if you wonna do it yourself. but it is not a reckot science....
