Hasn't gotten worse but hasn't gotten better. Any home remedy or wash that would help. He has gotten bigger than the transport box that I bought when he was young. I can't believe the fight if I were to try to put him into the carrier.

  1. My cat also has the same thing except that we have another male cat and they like to fight a lot so I asked the vet about it and he said the best thing to do is to let it run its course and if it keeps happening to bring him back to the vet another thing you can do is look up that question on cat faq sites as a matter of fact its what I was just doing

  2. Might have a corneal abrasion.  Take him to the vet.  Or call the vet - where I live there are vets that make housecalls.

  3. Try Neosporin. Put it on it about 3 times a day for maybe 4 days (at least one day after it's gone). Put it on both eyes, though be sure to use seperate ends of a q-tip to do it. My kittens descendant of one specific mom have always gotten an eye infection after they start to open their eyes and this has always worked. It most likely isn't serious, so don't freak out about it.

  4. You can actually buy a kitty eye flush. That may help.  I would suggest the vet however esp if the eye starts to swell or gets red.  If its not getting any better then def go and see the vet.  You could always call the vet as well and see what they say.

Try putting a blanket in the carrier, cats squeeze in small places all the time, also try bribbing him with treats in the carrier that may help with the transport.

    Good Luck!
