I have had this "blepharitis" for some time now.Going on 6 months.I have been given antibiotics and some type of steriod cream for my eye for 2 months.

The sympoms have cleared up a bit but i still have a problem from time to time. Will i always have to deal with this condition? Is it really NOT curable?

  1. yup , I'm an ophthalmologist and I have it , it sucks , but daily Johnson baby shampoo really relieved me of my misery .

  2. Yup I have it, what you need to do is clean clean clean. Use cotton swabs to get rid of any crust between you eyelids they clog your eyelids and get swollen so be careful. And also take some kind of omega three like fish oil or flax seed oil it will help with inflamation and it will supply your eyes with moisture. Be careful about what you put in your eye, if you use cosmetics leave them alone for now, they will only cause you pain. Good Luck. Pray.

  3. Think of it like dandruff, you can control it but never "cure" it, hygiene is the best way of coping with it, the Johnson baby shampoo suggestion earlier perfect.
