  1. Hi there,

Yes, probably is a ferral cat - jumpy and a wee bit bitey? If so, have a look on some sites about ferral cats as they can be hard to have as house pets. Google 'ferral kitten / cat' and you'll get loads.

Just be calm around the kitten, slow movements and leave food and water for her.

I've been around a few kittens - some (usually boys) are exploring a new place within a few hours but I looked after one grey tabby kitten who took 2 days to come out of her pet carrier. And when she did she shot straight under the sofa and wouldn't come out from under there for another day. After 2 weeks though she was running (literally sprinting!) all over the flat.

Just give your wee kitten time and be gentle - she might have been ill-treated and be very wary of humans. And you're a stranger to her at the moment too.  Hope it all works out

  2. This is what i did for my cat made a bed out of pillows and set him on the pillows and put my blanket over him and he fell asleep it was so cute.

  3. Hi Emma... if you just taken in this kitten it will take time for it to adjust. It is feeling overwhelmed.

Here are some guidelines to help you raise the orphaned kitten:

Please do consider contacting a veterinarian to have your kitten vet-checked.  This is to minimize any potential risk that is life-threatening to the well being of your kitten.

  4. Maybe you should take her to the vet so he/she could check it out.
