i was in the bathroom and i hear this loud meowing. my first thought was my cat in pain! hes outside tonight and its raining. [he chooses to be outside or in] i want to know if hes meowing in pain or just looking for a mate so i know if hes in trouble or not.

the meows are really loud and annoying, but they sounded at first like he was in pain. then it changed to a deeper tone...

  1. my cat meows when she wants to be petted or wants to come inside. Cats usually dont like water. So...get her inside. who cares if you will get grounded?

  2. Your cat is in heat, he is trying to call a female to mate with it, and will continue to do this until he is neutered. If this is annoying to you, it is probably annoying to neighbors as well.

If your Mom will be ticked off to find kittens in the garage again, she should help you be a responsible pet owner and get your cat neutered,  if you guy's are low income most every city has a low income spay and neuter. Sounds like your Dad needs to grow up and be considerate of you and your pet.

  3. My guess is he is trying to find a girlfriend. It does sometimes sound like they are in pain.He is fine.Don't worry about him.

  4. Sounds like there's probably a female in heat close by. As long as he's outside he's going to find a mate. If you can get him fixed so he can't make babies plus he'll calm down a lot. Good Luck.

  5. If you get caught, tell your parents that your cat woke you up and let him in.

  6. Get It Inside Pet It Or Feed It

Or Maybe If It Was A Male Sometimes He'll Need A Female Cat...

I Heard Some Of the People Says It's Crying Caus It Lonely?

All He/She Needs Some To Play With Or Pet It

Hope You Like That Answer :)

    That's All I Know...

  7. he is probably fine but if you let your cat out during the day you really need to bring him at night.

cats that go out doors can live happy long lives if your lucky enough to live in a cat safe area but i would still ALWAYS advise bringing your cat in at night.

he probably wants to come in if he is mewing.

    BTW get him neutered

  8. he will be looking for a mate, cats dont cry in pain they just run away and hide

  9. scream out the door "shut up!!!"

  10. getting your cat neutered will solve 2 problems:

first of all he wont be howling looking for a mate in the middle of the night and second he wont be contributing to the huge over population of unwanted cats and kittens in the world...do us all a favor and have your male cat neutered!!!

  11. i dont mean to state the obvious but go find him? give him a light run down across his back, sides, and legs and if he gives any sigh of pain (niping/scratching/crying) then you'll know if hes in pain.

in response to the added information. if you really care about the cat, go out and get it, explain to your parents you thought he was in danger. if your really that worried about getting in trouble, wait until morning

  12. Just go get him indoors. How are we supposed to know?

    Honestly!
