My oven is acting weird. -F I -?

Question

It keeps showing, "-F I -" and beeping where the temperature and timer usually show. Why is it doing this, and how can I make it stop?

F1 code on most are a computer failure if i knew the brand i could tell you what the code is for it i have the books here in front of me

Hmm, It seems you need a new oven display control, it looks broken, If i were you i would check trouble shooting and error codes on your oven manufacturer website.

F1 means a computer failure most of the time.

This means your oven's thermostat is malfunctioning.

Sounds like an electronic failure. Try reading the manual to see if it gives you a clue. If not, a phone call to your local appliance repair man sounds in order.
