My package was shipped using royal Mail????

I used the tracking number it gave me for Royal Mail and it said this:

Your item, posted on 21/08/08, has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

So who will actually deliever my package? Ups? Usps?
