My page keeps timing out when I'm still on it!?

The page that I'm on keeps timing out when I'm still on it, like if it thinks I'm no longer on that page, which keeps interrupting my typing, and as I type this, my page has timed out 3 times. I can fix this by clicking, but it's so annoying. I use Mozilla Firefox, and here's a screenshot of what's happening.

This is my page top usually:

  1. That could be because, if you made Yahoo ask you for your password after a cretin about of time. mine does that after i think 30 mins and i find it very it annoying

  2. I don't think it 's the browser or the page. The second graphic shows what the title bar looks like when you "lose focus". Something else on your computer is probably running in the background, and when it does something, it is grabbing focus from the other running applications. Maybe you're doing a virus scan or a download in the background?

Try shutting down anything else that's running and see if the problem still occurs.

  3. Go on to your start menu and find where it says "Run".

    Now type in "regedit".

That should take you to the registry. You need to completely delete the registry called HKEY Local Machine. Delete the whole folder, and everything in it.

Then restart the computer, it should be fine.

CAUTION: You should only do this if you sure about the problem. Talk to your computer specialist before you try anything you're not sure about.
