My page was eliminated totally without my knowledge or permission. Why would they do that?

My page had been in existence for almost 3 years, and had some pretty significant blogs on there. I'm not even able to get the Yahoo 360 Homepage. I have been totaly shutout, and don't know why. No one at Yahoo will answer my questions

  1. Yahoo is g*y and probably cancelled your account for some bogus violation-happened to me once.  They will never answer your question.  Don't even bother emailing them.

  2. FIRST, consider all the possibilities listed below.

    - If you've never set up your 360 before, then you'll need to activate it first. Log out of all Yahoo services. Go to http://360.yahoo.com and click on the Yellow "Get Started" button to go through the process. If it says your Yahoo ID is already in use, make sure you are completely logged out and that your browser's cache and cookies have been emptied.

    - Check your firewalls & other security settings to make sure they aren't blocking the page.

    - If you've had any change in your ISP service (like AT&T Yahoo) that was connected to a 360 account, then the change can cause you to lose access. Check with those sources to find out the deal.

    - If you've violated Yahoo Terms of Service (http://info.yahoo.com/legal/us/yahoo/uto... ) or 360 Community Guidelines (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ), then you should check your Yahoo! Mail for a notice. Violations can cause 360 space deletion.

You should be able to do the following, when you've activated your 360:

    - LOG OUT of all Yahoo services

    - Go to http://360.yahoo.com

    - Click the teeny tiny "Sign-in" link on the upper left of the page. After signing in, the page refreshes and you should click on the teeny tiny "Yahoo 360 Home" link on the upper right of the page to get into the 360 space.

NOTE: Make sure that you are using the Yahoo ID that was used to create your 360 space. The usual methods of accessing 360 are no longer working - i.e. via the Yahoo Toolbar and Y!Messenger (with the exception of the Y!360 plug in on version 8.1).

    **************************************...

Now, if you've determined that the above possibilities don''t apply to you or don't work, then you only have five choices:

    1) Try setting up or logging into your 360 space on another computer on a different network - library, your friend's computer...whatever.

    2) Contact CUSTOMER CARE by clicking the button at the bottom of this page: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/re... and ask them why the 360 part of your Yahoo account is inaccessible, then wait for their response. Although, this is customer service, so you may need to contact them a few times to get a response.  When dealing with customer service, sometimes it's necessary to be persistent. But at least wait a week or two for after contacting them the first time.

    3) Start a new 360 space by creating a new Yahoo account. Log out of all Yahoo services. Go to any Yahoo sign-in page and clicking "Sign Up" on the lower right side (http://mail.yahoo.com , is preferred). Then, once you've created a new account, go to http://360.yahoo.com and start creating your new 360 space from there. Click the BIG YELLOW "Get Started" BUTTON on the far right section of that page!

    4) Wait to see if Y!360 transitioning to another social networking platform in early 2008 will help your situation. Read more about that here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 .

    5) Give up on Yahoo! 360 and use another social networking service.

    Good luck!

  3. a computer virus could of with out you konwing it happened to me many times so i got all sorts of antie spyware

  4. http://www.morun.net/www/clean-cache/cle...

Do this and restart your computer.

    Scan for virus and spyware.

One of the reason a person should clean their cache is because web sites we visit leaves tracking cookies. They can hack personal info, personal settings, and even change home page or cause virus and Trojans.

Then try your 360 again. try to go to another persons avatar, that has a 360 link showing, click on that and then on the ''home'' at the top of the page. You can even click on the Answers Blog at the top of this page.

When Yahoo deletes some one, they always send a notice. Even if the notice tells of a false statment.
