When I try to wake up the screen by pushing the red button as instructed in the manual, it takes about 5 mins to reboot the PDA. When it goes on stanby mode it really turns off. I can no longer receive phone calls when the phone goes on standby. I tried it. i tried playing with the auto off but it will only allow me to put it on 3mins max. I need help quick. I depend on the phone for my business.

  1. wake it up with the call button.. not the red one..

I added this...perhaps it will help.

It should wake up with either the call button... the one with the phone on it, or the red one.  you can even hit home, then the call button to get it back to the call screen.

If all else fails, what kind of third party apps. do you have on the device?  I have found that some of them don't always play nice with the phone.  You may want to try a warm reset.  And have you set it up to sync?  If you have set up the backup... always set it to have the phone over ride the computer... do a hard  reset and see if that clears it up.

If you aren't sure how to do the hard or warm reset... if you have a mypalm on the device go there to the support page and read the manual on how to do it... If you don't have it... I would suggest getting it.  It's always good to have the manual, where ever you roam...
