  1. spend time with him and give him treats so he will trust u and then wear a glove and hold him for at least 5 minutes each day. strock his head too.that should work

  2. Your bird probably doesn't hate you.  He probably likes your company.  Give him treats, my bird loves asparagus.  Talk to him in the cage.  Open the cage up so he can walk around on the outside and get use to being out.  Eat something near him and give him part of it maybe an orange.  Birds are very curious so you could hold something(preferably some sort of bird treat)in your hand and look at it and talk about it when you are around the bird, but don't let the bird see it.  Then put your hands closer to the cage the bird will probably come closer to your hands to see what it is then pull it away and bring it back so she can see it.  After a few times of doing that give the bird the treat.  It is a game all of my birds love.

  3. He doesn't hate you he most likely loves you to death but is scared when you get too close. try clipping his wings and then training him.

    hope this helps

  4. i would tame him, he can learn to trust you and even love you   go to  http://www.parrotcentral.net/how_to_tame... for good tips on taming your bird   goodluck!

  5. You deserve it,in their opinion. So try to change their opinion.

  6. Try talking sweetly and kindly to him WHILE he is in his cage.

Talk to him like he is a normal person.

    Make him trust you.

Also get him some nice bird toys to CHEW on, for parakeets LOVE! to chew.

    =D

  7. first ignore him when he bites. The more reaction the more he or she will do it. I know it hurts but grit your teeth and bare it. When your parakeet does not bite and is just sitting or playing quitely praise her for doing so in a nice sweet loving voice. Let your bird come to you dont reach in to grab and take it out. Put one finger near his belly right under his chest and say step up. Keep doing this until the bird gets it. if the bird gets a good bite on you whatever she is biting shake a little to throw off balance. he will get the message. Dont do it so hard he falls but do it so he will have to let go to get balance back. Called the birdie earthquake:) Also get yourself a book on these little guys. Good luck
