Parents have restrictions that you have to follow as long as you live with them.  Once you move out, it's not like they'll force their options on you that they had when you were living with them.  If so, then they are not that open to accepting you for who you are, but hopefully that is not the case.  Parents, most of them just want to have their kids focus on having their lives together more than focusing on trends to make them look good or material things.

im sry to hear this i toatally know what you mean my grandparents are the ones who raised me i just learned to chill and waite till im eighteen or if i must do something i just say grandma i promiss you i wont do drugs or smoke and all i ask from you is a  few things and it usually works nto sure if this helps but
