My parents and I are going skiing during the winter holidays. Where is the best skiing in Canada?

I've already been to Quebec so I'd prefer if it wasn't there and my parents like top of the line hotels but its not a must.

banff has some excellent hotels and several extremely nearby ski resorts. it also has some decent shopping and lots of places to visit.

Out west is alot better than east...less Ice...I'd rank the hills I ski at as follows:

Kicking Horse

Revelstoke

Fernie

Whistler (only went once and wasn't great...but normally I'd imagine would be good)

Lake Louise or Sunshine

2. Banff Lake Louise

3. Sun Peaks, BC  

  Of the 3  #3 is probably the least crowded and more family oriented.

1. is the premiere resort in North America and the 2010 Alpine games will be held there. Great party town, great ski and snowboard and it takes years to explore the whole area.  Have fun all 3 are great.
