This is a really random question haha!

  4. Indian dresses are so nice can be worn , Being on an expensive ship use some expensive, gorgeous splendid Indian Outfit - BE INDIAN AND FELL PROUD.

  5. i say sure if you would like too.. the women can wear saree or salwar kameeze... but i suggest the guys to wear a suit type of outfit..

  6. I don't see why not, a Scotsman can wear a kilt or tartan trews on a formal night and I have seen an American gentleman wearing a tartan tux on a formal night.

On a Princess cruise there was a Dutch couple who wore their national dress with clogs on a formal night.

If you wish to wear Indian clothes on a formal night, you can, if you prefer to wear dinner suits and evening dresses, you can.  The choice is yours, just enjoy the cruise.

  10. I wouldn't think so. I think you should be able to wear whatever you like!

  11. Well if you and your family are Indian and you would like to wear Indian clothes, sure why not. If you and your family are not Indian I think it would be kind of silly to wear such attire.

  12. I would suggest to wear good Traditional Indian Cloths with traditional Indian Jewelery, which shows True Indian Culture and not what people think outside India. I am sure people like good Indian Traditional dresses. For rest of the time you can wear western.

  13. If you are from India and you want to wear your native formal clothes on formal night, by all means do that.  We typically take African formal wear on our cruise and wear it on Formal nights.  I have two Gran Booboo's that I wear, one with a gold trim and the other with a blue trim..  They are the formal African attire from Ghana.

Formal nights are requested attire and not required attire anyway so as long as you are dressed at least sports casual no one will even pay attention.

  14. It depends that what you beleave as Indian clothes. If you wish to wear Dhoti it will not look good but that is for sure that Sari will look very good on your Mom.

  18. no, if you mean indian style cloths or indian cloths like sari and stuff like that, its a yes for the ladies, but for the men.. suits...

  19. I would suggest that you wear what you like. By your question I take it that you are of Indian birth and culture. Being British, I am sure that if I was on an Indian cruise ship, I would not be obliged to wear Indian apparel, nor would I want to. As i said in my opening sentence, you must wear the clothes of your choice. I am sure that nobody would object.....I certainly wouldn't. I hope that you all enjoy your cruise.
