My parents are delusional

Question

First of all, im 17 years old, and have one more school year living at home dealing with bullsht.

Anyways, I put a Japanese Kanji symbol on my car door that mean "Marijuana" but i told my parents it mean "hope" and they believed me..hehe.

So, now they are like, "Some anti-asian is gonna bash in your windows and we're not gonna pay for it, you need to take that off"

I was like, "You are so uncultured, nobody would do that" (I live in ethnically diverse California by the way)

They were like "YES THEY WOULD, YOU HAVE A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT THE REAL WORLD"

So, are they delusional?

should i take off the sticker?

all parents are idiots just tell them its my car and if someone bashes it then ill deal with it
