It's gonna be my mum, dad, grandma, uncle, auntie, brother and two cousins (who are 6 and 12)!!!! It's going to be so boring and it's for the whole weekend plus monday!!! I have to go back to school in two weeks (summer holidays over) and I don't want to spend my last days being bored s**+tless. What shall I say? I'm 16 btw.

  1. Be grateful you have a family who want to spend time together, instead of whinging, try and join in ,you just might enjoy yourself.Remember, being 16,you will soon be old enough to do things your own way and I promise , you will look back on these family times with great affection.

  2. Try and take something to make this better for you but it is just one of those things that you must do.  There will be a lot more of those things to come in the years ahead.  Just get it in your mind that you will have fun (not at others expense) and make the best of it.  It can be as bad as you dream it to be or can be good up to you.

  3. I would be excited and would try to make the most out of it. Believe me there will be times in your life when you will miss that time being with your family. Enjoy while you can. Soon you'll be in college and be dreaming about your family and those weekends together.

  4. Well i think you should go camping with the fam because people all over the nation are waiting to see their family for a day and it wont be sooo boring i mean what were you going to do anyways sit on your butt and watchh tv BORING go camping and have a great time and when you get back you still have a week just go and have a blast!!

You will have weekends during school and i am sure going campin wont be that bad!! :)

  5. Tell them you you are ill so you can't go and tell them that you want them to have a good time and then throught a party.

                            OR

Tell them the truth that you are going to have a boring time and would rather spend the time with ur friends.

                            OR

Just go have try to have a good time with ur family and have some fun and be happy.

  6. TRY ASKING THEM TO TRUST YOU IN STAYING HOME BY YOURSELF...THEY MAY JUST SAY YES, MINE DID

  7. Some people wished they had a family to go camping with. You should consider yourself lucky.  Take some things to keep you from boredom, like cards & games.

  8. You don't say anything, you join in. It's called being part of a family.

  9. Can I turn this question around?   Your Mum and Dad are not going to have you with them for long, soon you will be away doing your own thing.  They have cared for you for 16 years.....couldn't you give something back to them by sharing a weekend with them?  I don't think the world revolves around what you want or need - just do it because they want to 'pretend' for just a little longer that you care and love your family....it's not a lot to ask.

I have a 13 year old grandson who feels as you do....he doesn't know how much he hurts my daughter by his 'bored' face and sullen attitude.

  10. Go and make the best of it. You'll be glad you did in the end!
