We need names, French names. So far we like the names Josephine (Jo-suh-feen) and Esmee (Ess-mae). We like old school names.

Tell us what you think of those names and which one you like and/or leave a suggestion too. Nothing to crazy yet nothing too ordinary.

Last name is Seymour.

  1. i really like Esmee, also this way you dont have a letter repeated with the names. it would sound better in the line up haha

  5. well if its a boy how about Abnur? (Ab-nur) or for a girl Ariana (Air-e-ana)

  6. I love Josephine, not crazy about the other ones though.  And Julien is a boys name. (Julienne or Julianne would be the feminine equivilant)

On another random note, so is Rene/René and Jean; Renee/Renée and Jeanne are the feminine forms. (Just a pet peeve of mine, to see it misspelled)

Juliette, Jeanne, Colette, Cosette (from Les Miserables), Lydie, Marie, Anne, Amelie, Emilie

For French names, remember that practically ALL french girls' name end in E or IE, so avoid A and Y endings.  Only exception I can think of is Sara.

'cept the way i've always spelled it is esme with an accent over the e.

Some other suggestions are Isabelle (Iz-ah-behl), Arlette (Ahr-leht), Margot (Mar-goh), and Cateline (Kat-ah-leen),

  25. its weird to have a french name--when you're not french...but lets see what about Nicolette/ nicholette.  Both the names you suggested are rather "ugly" and belong to old women who are in nursing homes.  What about antoinette--which is also ugly but better than the two you named.
