  1. Good luck!

You will soon be a citizen of the most hated nation in the world.

  2. Petition for Alien Relative

    Purpose of Form :

A citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States may file this form to establish the relationship to certain alien relatives who wish to immigrate to the United States. A separate form must be filed for each eligible relative. Please note: USCIS processes Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, as a visa number becomes available. Filing and approval of an I-130 is only the first step in helping a relative immigrate to the United States. Eligible family members must wait until there is a visa number available before they can apply for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status to a lawful permanent resident.

are your parent permanent resident of US ?

  3. But you'll leave the ignorant haters behind. (see above)

    Congratulations.

  4. You will fall under the Family Sponsored Preferences 2B. Unmarried sons and daughters 21 years & older. As of July 07, the priority dates for this category is Oct 1, 1996. This means that the US Embassy is issuing visas for those who applied during this time.

You don't want to know what will happen if you marry OR if the parent who petitioned you passes away during this time.

Realistically, it is easier to get a tourist visa and visit your parents periodically. Who knows, you might meet an eligible bachelor (US citizen of course).**
