My parents are money hogs....?

From what I know, my parents have around a 15 million dollar in net worth. I consider that wealthy. Yet they say we are "poor" and they got to invest more and save more. Isn't 15 million dollar considered pretty rich? After they inherit from grandfather, they would have 20 million dollar yet they say they aren't rich? They save too much. They never buy me anything, we rarely go shopping, eat out and go to movies. Its not fair how my other wealthy friends are getting cars, and all the other luxuries that I don't have.

  1. Go make your own money and don't be a mooch.

  2. First off, you are not on an episode of The OC. Get that c**p out of your head. Second, your parents owe you nothing. They dont HAVE to buy you a car. They dont HAVE to take you shopping because you wore that shirt yesterday and 'OMG what will Muffy think??'. Ever think the reason they do this is because they dont want you to be a SPOILED LITTLE BRAT???!! Get over yourself and get off your tush and get a job. Jeeze you kids kill me!

  3. I think your parents ROCK!

  4. if they dont want to get it for u; get it ur self. plain as put.. Whatever they are doing toget the money, learn  somthing fron them. and that will learn u how to get it urself.

  5. Shut up... you are a typical spoiled teenager, I am 22 and saying this.  You should learn from your parents and manage money like they do.  If you want something like a car... here's a thought...GET A JOB! It's their money, you are not neglected, get over yourself.  And be glad your college will be paid in full and you wont have 37,000 in student loans from putting yourself through school without the help of parents.

  6. Hmm... they sound a lil' stingy to me. Right now with the economy being so bad, it is a good idea to try & save as much as possible. But it definately seems like they should be enjoying the money that they have a little more than they are. And they should not be saying they're "poor", because they are far from it. It seems to me that if you're a good kid and old enough to drive, they ought to be willing to help you purchase a vehicle, and go out to eat, or to the movies, etc. They sound pretty tight with their money. If I had that kind of money, I would enjoy it instead of doing nothing & just saving it. Sorry they're so selfish... I know that must be aggervating.

  7. They might be rich but with this Recession they are just being smart with not knowing if the economy will get worse.  They could be more lenient on the movies but the cars and stuff that is really expensive.  They are being smart with stuff like that.

  8. are you sure they have 15 million lol parents with that kind of money generally lavish there kids with expensive gifts
