My parents don't have big noses but I do?

My nose is big and sort of long but my parents have normal noses. Why is this?

  1. It could be that they both carried recessive genes for a large nose from a past relative and it was passed on to you. It happens...Sorry.


  2. If you are still growing, it may just be that you haven't grown into your nose yet. Whe i was about 13-16 i hated my nose because everyone in my family has a thin straight nose, and mine had a round tip and a crooked part in it and was way to big for my face. But eventually i grew into it, and now (I'm 28) i love it. It's still a little crooked, but it fits me well. :)

    Also, your physical traits don't necessarily come just from your parents. There are thousands of years of ancestry in your DNA. My fiance's little brother has blue eyes- everyone else in the family has brown eyes! It's weird, but it happens.

  3. I wish that my nose was my only problem.

  4. do any of your other older relatives have big noses?  some traits dont get passed down to every single person.
