  1. I think most people goes through the stage of wearing shirts from bands. you will grow out of it. [even though some people dont]

but if your not ready to let go of your tees then talk to your parents and tell them thats the style you like and are comfortable in. im pretty sure they will understand.

but if you are ready to try something new, go to like Charlotte Russe, forever 21, even walmart, target or whatever. and you can mix styles and create your own. that way you please your parents and you please yourself!

  2. Unfortunately ur going 2 have 2 keep ur parents happy, and kids wearing what they want has been a problem with parents scince clothes were invented...See the difference is u know what u like but ur parents want u 2 look presentable and responsible when ur at school and in the public, notice they probably dont have a problem with u wearing the shirts  or u probably wouldn't even have them.  So sometimes it may seem like they re being a pain and corny and not cool but they re looking out for u...sometimes what we wear can give out the wrong message of who we are....

whoa whoa...no...wait...you don't have to grow out of the band shirt its not a phase and you don't have to worry about your parents.  believe in yourself and your sense of style and music. the way you dress should celebrate your individuality.  if its the way you dress then fond ways to add on to the style or if you got the cash buy designer band shirts...or even make shirts your self.  one thing is don't do anything everyone else is doing...people hate that.  an old faded shirt means your dedicated but when its a black shirt gone gray and moth eaten it means your a hobo.  don't scene accessorize either... ie:studs, bracelets and leather (hot topic/spencers c**p)  go a little higher and use FOSSIL accessories or Charlotte Ruse...my favorite store for my tees and other stuff is Urban Outfitters.  or hit the local city for concerts and get your shirts there..like the stuff you can't get in the stores.  once a rocker always a rocker ok like everyone still needs that band shirt but they may switch to more designer brands and stores.  check the links to see what i mean

  4. Man i know a lot of parents that would be honored if there kids started wearing t-shirts from bands from the 80s
