how do I get a scholarship?

I'm also an average student with medium GPA and volunteer work, but I need money for college. And most scholarships want you to have a talent or somethng that makes a person unique. Is it a good idea to get one of those books like The Scholarship Handbook?

Please help, I am despearate and will owe like $10,000-$15,000 a year if I don't get any scholarships.

  1. There are literally 100's of Scholarships out there. You just have to go to your Fin aid office and speak to a counselor. Just be prepared to spend many hours writing and applying for them. Most schools also have scholarship workshops.

  2. Your parents don't work and you are only getting 2,000. Did you fill out the FASA correctly?

  3. Have you not filled out a FAFSA?

  4. Each scholarship provider has different requirements. Maybe you can try to go to

    it's about scholarships information.

    Good luck
