  1. Do you have enough income to eat nutritious meals? Be involved in school/extracurricular activities? Is your house heated in the colder months and cooled in the summer months?  Do you have clothes that are comfortable and fit well?

If you are asking this question, you are not poor.  There is NO DOUBT in the minds of children who are poor. They can list for you all the opportunities they miss out on because their parents have to put food on the table!

  2. No.

  3. Uhm well It DOES matter where you live.

I live in Gainesville florida. My daddy makes 100 grand himself.

My mom only around 50-60 grand (I cant remember)

But i mean, ALOT of people are still richer.

Like my boyfriend. He gets 130 dollars allowance every month cause his mom can afford it. They are like ******* millionaires.

  4. Not really, you're like middle class. My parents make a combined income of like $250,000 sometime more sometimes less (dad is a lawyer and mom is a pediatrician). I think we're like middle class too.

  5. all depends on their budget if they spend more than they earn then YES your poor but if they know how to deal with money ur on the middle class..

  6. no, middle class

  7. No, that's I think middle class.

You're not poor unless your parents mismanaged their funds.

  8. No. Depending upon the area you live and if it is higher or lower cost of living, you would probably be considered middle, maybe upper middle class.

  9. You make more than my parents!

  10. Depends where you live, of course...

If you live near millionaires then your considered poor.

If your neighbors make as much as your parents then your not, but you will be considered average.

Anything less then your neighbors and friends then your considered poor.

The trick is how much does it take to live comfortable?

Fancy cars, homes and expensive vacations does not make one rich.

Only if your doing a little better than your neighbors/friends do you appear to be richer.

  11. No.  You're a lot closer to rich than you are to poor.

  12. My dear Sara....

Honey, you don't know, what....POOR  is !!! Maybe you turn on CNN and watch some of those underprivileged children in the "third-world"-countries all over Africa, who have to search on the dump-yards for plastic items, thrown-away food particles, halfway starving to death, etc.- people all over Asia, who barely have "a handful of rice" to eat, etc.-  You have NO IDEA, what ...POVERTY is, Sara !!!

You should feel MORE than lucky to have such a high standard of living ---parents with such an lucrative income---There are a "zillion" of starving children all over the world while you have "a roof over your head", sufficient food on the table, etc.- so be THANKFUL for what you have, Sara, because there are MILLIONS of people in the world, who don't know, where the "next piece of bread" is coming from !!! So, Sara ...you are definitely : NOT POOR, honey ! On the contrary, you are quite wealthy (compared to the rest of the suffering world) ! And one "last" thing ..."The one who has GOODNESS in his heart is RICH" !

Wishing you all the best for the future ! Greetings from Germany with all my love & care.... Annette***

  14. Depends on where you live

If you're in  ... say, Beverly Hills, you're poor

If you live in an area like I do, you're rich

  15. Uhm NO. On Average, couples together make about $40,000. So uhm yeah you're good.

  16. No but it also depends on how much money is going out.  100k is nothing if you have 100k worth of bills each month.  So if you hear them complain about being broke or poor, it's due to poor money management.

It also depends on where you live.  California's cost of living is much, much higher than, let's say Georgia.

  17. why does it matter????

  18. No you arent poor, but iwhere do you live?

  19. Umm, yea, sure....send some of that POORNESS to me!!!

  20. ur not poor but ur not rich either a good income is considered over $50,000 a year so ur parents make a lot of money.

  21. Come back to me with this question when one of your parents is unemployed and the other makes 25 grand a year.

  22. About upper middle class.

  23. Thanks for flaunting your money.

  24. Like the first answer said it all depends on where you live if you you live in a run down portion of the city then your rich but if you live in berverly hills then your not poor but not rich (you don't need to worry about your parents finances) look at it this way. My parents make $234,786 a year we live in a wealthy part of calgary we own a cabbin a boat 3 cars and go on a vacation or two every year and we own all of those and can still live comfortably and happy so don't worry some people don't even earn $50,000 a year

  25. Not really.

100,000 is not bad-ish, but not great.

    Poor is less than 30k.

  26. no,

do you have a roof over your head?

    do you have food everyday?

do you have a bed to sleep in?

with $100,000 a year I'm pretty sure you do.

    :]
