I need training and meet shoes. I have no money, I'm too young for a job and I have no alternative. The only things I have are way too heavy, they're like converses or something I got for my birthday. What do I do???

  1. Earn the money by doing chores or favors for your parents, or family members

  2. Uhm.  Make your own.

  3. there are many places where you can get cheap running shoes. i got mine at an outlet store for 20 bucks. that was pretty rare, but you'll need something besides converse.

if your parents won't give in, and you can handle kids, try babysitting. that's where i get all my money.

  4. Go to a thrift store.

  5. if your parents are not supportive of your running career maybe you could go and ask your neighbors if they have something they need done  for money youll be suprised by how supportive the community could be.

  6. tell them the risks of running with old shoes...you can get injured faster and blisters/shin splints are common. Also tell them how many miles your shoes have and how worn out they are, and that these shoes are not a want but a need, a neccessity. if that doesn't work, do chores, wash the car, vacuum, dust, etc. for money. that works :]

  7. Do some chores and ask for an allowance?

  8. Do chores around the house to show you are working hard for the running shoes and really do need them.
