My parents won't let me buy another piggy!?

And the people of America all say that you need 2 piggies!

For goodness sake they won't even let me make my one pig a new cage! They say the one she has now is big enough!

How can I convince them! my parents are tough nuts to crack...

buy the piggy anyways, without them knowing and then make another cage for the new one. slowly introduce them, and make sure they don't fight.

Wow that is a tuffy. I would look something up about the cage sizes for them and what size they may need. After that look up there companionship and what they need socially. Hope that helps in someway.

guinea pigs don't really need to have other guinea pig friends. as long as you spend a lot of time with them they'll be fine. in fact, they will bond to you instead of whatever other guinea pig they would be friends with. good luck! maybe if your parents see your spending so much time with it they'll let you get more. :)

state the facts, guinea pigs are often depressed and lonely when they are alone and single guinea pigs make much worse pets. and guinea pigs need all the room they can get or they can get cramped, which leads to stress, which leads to death.
