My parents wont approve?

i live in california. im 17 years old turning 18 in december. my boyfriend is 19 and he turns 20 in december also. we have been together for 2 years. we've been through alot of rough times. he has asked me to get married. But what im asking is my parents do not approve of us. because him & i used to be really bad and cause trouble. but not anymore for the last year. and my boyfriend wants to talk to my mother about our relationship but she doesnt seem to approve of us. but im almost legal. but in a few months we are planning to get married and move out. and i want my parents to be at the wedding to give us their blessing, my parents were forced to be married and my parents have told me that they only say together because they have me and my sister. and i asked them if my boyfriend makes me happy why dont you approve? she says that doesnt matter. my boyfriend and i are both about to attend college in fall. we both have well-payed jobs. the only problem here is getting my parents to understand. and i sometimes am afraid my mother might get my boyfriend in trouble. what should i do here? and can my 19 year old boyfriend get into trouble because of this ?

My parents don't like my boyfriend because we always fight & have little arguments so I know what you mean.

Once you turn legal, no he cannot get into trouble for this.  What I would do if I were you is tell you're parents how much you love him & how he loves you back & just tell them to deal with it.  You can't control who you love.

i wouldn't approve either. you're kinda young and 2 years isn't a very long time if you think about it.

why do you have to get married? you can wait till after college you know

Wait till u both done with college and have good job @ your age y said

both have well paid job where u work at some time slow and steady

wins the race u r too young to married whats hurry.

That does sound kind of young to get married. You should probably wait until after college. Although if he makes happy, I don't see why they wouldn't approve. Maybe they don't want you to leave?

well ur really TO YOUNG TO GET MARRIED honestly you dunt have to take all dat responsiblity its to much fer a 17 year old girl trust me

nd well either way its going to be your choice wether they like it or not

mab its cuz ur yung and dunt have a good place to stay and start a life

just talk to them alot about it
