My parents wont let me go to vacation by myself

I want to got to el Salvador this Christmas and my dad is cool but my mom says no. I'm a 17 year old guy who is going down there with my cousin who is 18 and thats it. also the school vacation is for two weeks so i wont miss a single day. I got a job and of course going to pay for it all but my mom still wont let me go. any tips on how i can show my mom i am responsible enough?

Are you? Do your actions always show you are responsible and that you have integrity? if yes, continue on and let her have a chance to think about it before you start trying to change her mind for her.

talk talk talk.....address all of her concerns with your dad present...shift answering to him of possible with "what do you think about that"  or "how can we solve this part"  

get the cousin involved in this too

keep working on them, eventually they will break. they are gonna have to let go of you eventually
