Question:

My parents wont let me move in with them but they wont sign emancipation papers HELP! ?

heres the story i moved out in april of this year i tried to move back in in june but i couldnt now i live with my aunt a due to family problems we have to move a couple of hours away i have lived in my home town my entire life and if i move i loose my scholarships and valedictorian at my school i have a 19 yr old bf that will let me live with her and its 30 min away from my school my parents will not let me live with her or move but they wont let me live with them or sign any emancipation papers school starts back next week and my parents wont fill out the usual papers for school and they wont allow anyone but my parents to sign what do i do?????

  1. Go talk to the principle or the school councilor and tell them what you told us in your question.

    Your parents have to let you move back home since you are under age to live alone.

    You also have to go to school.  Your parents could be in big trouble over this and they will deserve to be.

    Where do your parents expect yo to live?  If not home, where?  If not with your friend, where?  Don't they understand that you have to live somewhere?  That you have to go to school?

    Congratulation on being valedictorian of your school and receiving scholarships.  Your parents should be proud.
