  1. she is probally molting look it up .she should do this a couple of times a year also make sure she has a bowl of water she can get into and mist her a few times a day with spray bottle

  2. Then for some reason she is very stressed, she may be lonely and bored. I dont think she'd have any kind of diseases if she is the only bird you have, the poor thing.

  3. In nature, birds brush past leaves containing oil on their leaves and bathe frequently. Pet stores carry a bird bath spray that contains oil. They should be ever so lightly misted according to directions. Also I use a fine spray plant mister with warm water to lightly mist the feathers. Also poor diets will contribute to feather plucking. I know if there are changes in their enviorment this can also cause them to become nervous and pluck. Have you moved the bird? Brought in another pet? Children?  Look around to see if you can target the problem.

  4. has anything happened to your house any changes cause the parrot can be stressed out cause of that and begins to loose feathers and pea

  5. Parrots pluck for all kinds of reasons, including medical issues like giardia. Rule out the health issues first by taking her to an avian vet.

It could be stress or boredom. Some birds are extremely sensitive to changes (new people, new pets, new environment...)

  6. she is sad, stressed or depressed....

    buy her a mate ! (:
