My parrot likes to eat Gobstoppers?

Sometimes when I'm eating them he will grab one from my hand and eat it for 10-15 minutes. How dangerous can this be for him?

It is not great for him, you may want to keep in mind that he will want a treat when you are eating them yourself.  Have a healthy, fun snack for him to enjoy.

Although it does sound cute, it is not a good snack for them because they can't digest that much sugar.  They will also begin to crave it just like we do when we eat sugar and your parrot may avoid eating his own food because it lacks that sweet taste.
