My partner and I are going on vacation to France in 2 weeks...?

I don't really look like my passport picture anymore. The picture shows me with hair on my head, clean shaved and no eye glasses.

If I were to announce at the security gate that I volunteer for a strip search will they just wave onto the plane without looking at my passport???

I would, if I worked at the airport. But some of the people there are real tight @sses, so I suggest you take extra ID with you.

No. They have to see your passport no matter what.

You probably still look SOMEWHAT like you do in your passport photo..they more then likely will be able to tell that it's you

Nope, you gotta hand it over.  Your passport says more than what you look like.  It tells security that a thorough background check has been done on you and you are not a serious criminal or someone who isn't allowed to leave the country for legal purposes, among other things.

I'm sure you don't look that different-they'll know its you.

No, they will ALWAYS look at your passport. Because passports don't need to be renewed for 10 years, I don't think they'll mind that you had hair when it was taken etc. Don't worry about it. I am sure they will allow you to fly to France but don't think you won't need to show your passport because it's a must. You won't get on a plane without them seeing it (and they check them more than once!). Have a good time in France, I've just come back as we live there sometimes, although the weather was absolutely terrible.
