  1. I dont know the legalites of it, but Im sure if you got in touch with an adoption agency they would keep you right.

Sorry for your loss and good luck with your search x

  2. Sorry to hear about your loss, but what are your motives?Did your partner try to make contact. If you do make contact will this woman be interested i fear not concentrate on what you have and make the best of it, you can't fill that hole with another. The Salvation Army can usually find people

  3. I suggest you contact your local social services.....from persoal experience i know that the adoption agencies are very cagy about giving out this  kind of information for obvious reasons.....dont expect a quick answer.....suggest also you contact salvation army  & norcap

  4. I'm sorry for your loss.

Certainly you can search, your son deserves to know about his paternal side.

    good luck.

  5. yes you can for the medical part of it and let whom every know that the adopted someone is gone it would be nice jesture if they even care sometimes they do.

  6. I am very sorry for your loss.  It takes a lot to come back from something like that.

I would because she deserves to know that she too suffered a loss.  She deserves the chance to know her grandchildren.

  7. sorry for your loss and yes i don't see why not your son should meet his grandma and i am sure she would love to meet you all to good luck

  8. It has been made much easier now for cases like this, in the past you would have no chance.

Do you know where he was born as this would be very helpful as the Borough would have the birth registration, what you need to do is to contact the nearest adoption agency and take it from there, also his birth certificate should be of help as it should show where he was first registered, also talk to the people who adopted him, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

  9. helena71 i am so sorry for your tragic loss, you are so thoughtful to be thinking about your son, at this terrible time, would his adoptive parent's be able to help you, or do you feel you cannot ask, use his birth certificate, or adoption paper's if you have them, & seek advice from social service's, may i wish you luck in tracking down your partner's birth mum and i hope it all goe's well & she accept's your son her grandchild. take care.
