  1. You work, you get the "benefit" of a paycheck.  What more do you think you deserve and why?

  2. go to www.entiltedto.co.uk fill in the on-line form as if your already working part time and it will tell you what ur entilted to.

  3. If your income is below approx £66,000 you should be entitled to the child ellement which I beleive to be around £200-300, if your combined income is around £30,000 or less you will get more, plus help with your child care costs. I don't know all the detail, but if you key in a search for tax credit, you will find that the tax credit website has a tax credit calculator where you enter your income and afew other details and it tell you how much you will get if you make a claim. Good luck, its a huge nightmare once you have applied though!! Hope it goes well with baby.
