well i got pulled over for some reason or another. the police officer asked how much did i have to drink tonight and i told him nothing. he then questioned the passengers in my car. one thing led to another and one of the passengers in my car, who is 18, got a possession of alcohol ticket. i didnt get a ticket. but the cop made me give him my license and registration. and he looked at my insurance card and wrote some stuff down on the ticket that he gave my friend. just wondering, will anything go on my record or anything happen to my insurance and/or will my insurance company be notified?

thanks

  1. "well i got pulled over for some reason or another"

    What was the reason?

As for your question, probably not.  Unless the cop said he would.

  2. I agree with Trooper with the exception if you are over 21 years old and old enough to buy alcohol.  Possibly, contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

  3. If you were not drinking, and no alcohol was found in the car, you will not get a ticket.
