Question:

My paternal line averages 70-72 years of life, is that good?

From between 1725/30 to 2004, the average length of my paternal line, from my grandfather to my 5x great grandfather, is about 71. The lowest age was 50. The highest age was 86.

Over that length of time, does that average length of life put my paternal line above, about equal to, or below what one should expect his paternal line to have lived?

  1. i live off junk food and have no health problems...others eat carrots and run two hours a day only to get cancer.  life is not fair but c'est la vie.  genetics, dude and i do bike an hour a day but am no marathon runner and have even lost ten pounds...
