My pc is showing this error ERROR_BAD_LENGTH:The program issued a command but the command length is incorrect.

Dear All,

I am using windows-XP professionals version. After updating and installing my Windows update, my laptop ask to restart.

and then after restarting,, it is not getting my password and the following error occurs after entering the password:

"the program issued a command but the command length is incorrect

Please try again or consult your admin."

I have tried a lot.

I have tried to F8 to go safe mode and then previous latest safe configuration but same error occurs.

Please Help!
