My pc kept on booting... help....?

my pc kept on booting.. even in safe mode.. my HD works on other pc.. Memory card is ok too.. tried to reformat but its still it keeps on rebooting..

  1. this happened to me. for some odd reason it was set to hibernate every 20 seconds lol


  2. check the processor Fan or any of the cooling system it probably  one of them is not working

  3. hahaa i had the same prob with my other computer running windows xp. granted i caught a trojan virus. is it just going to the windows boot up screen and jumping back to the memory check??? if so you might have to reinstall your windows program. the operating system might be screwed

  4. Yeah I would go with G24K's answer about it being an overheating issue. If your CPU fan is ok then I would say its your Power Supply

    the fan might be working just fine in the Power Supply but there's probably a component toasted or the thermal protect circuit is bad. I just replaced mine when I had a similar issue and that cured it.
