My pc says cpu fan not installed on start up?

my pc says cpu fan not installed and makes a continuous beeping noise on start up..any ideas why it is doing this?or what to do?

  1. Your fan is probably disconnected or completely broken. If you don't hear it you should open the case. (When the computer is off).

  3. see if it is broken.

    reinstall drivers.

    restore computer to factory condition.

    take it to the repair shop.

  4. The FAN has stopped working is what this depicts. To confirm just open the comp and then power on. You should see at least 2 fans rotating

    1) SMPS FAN

    2) CPU FAN -> Fan on the motherboard. See if this FAN in working. You will have to replace the fan if your fan is not working. If the processor is intel based then you can buy an easy replacement, else if its AMD you  may have to search a bit. For others am not sure.
