I have a baby peace lily and it grows slowly but the tips of the leaves have all gone brown/ died. Also some of the older leaves have shriveled a bit and get this brownish burn type looking thing on them. Whats wrong?

It is indoors so not too much sun, it sits it a water saucer so has water.

  1. Browning of the tips may be due to;over watering, over fertilizing and or salt in watter.yes your plant loves its watter but it also need air. if it is sitting in watter all the time it will not survive.never let a plant sit in water for more than 15 minutes. when feeding use half the recommended amount.trick; take an old milk jug rinse and use when watering.helps eliminate toxin in the watter, you can also put your plant food in it.if their is a white buildup on the sides, let it dry out. then rinse it out letting it run out the bottom ,remove any sitting water.

  2. If the tips are brown, it sounds like too much sun.  Don't let it sit in water.  Let it start to wilt a little, then give it a good dose of water.  Do You have a dark corner somewhere in your house?  They really don't like even a little bit of sun.

  3. Too much water
