My pee smells like coffee....why?

I have a history of kidney stones so I wonder if this has anything to do with it. Your thoughts?? Thanks

In my past I used to drink a few cups of coffee and when I would go pee it would have the same smell. It would be pretty strong if I had not eaten anything so i began to eat a sandwich and drink a few it still would smell some but not as strong. Also a few time the wife would in fact give me some oral and she also said it had the taste in it. If you don't eat anything and drink plenty of coffee then it will transfer over. Women who breast feed have the same thing if they eat certain foods or meds it will show up in the milk and the baby will get it, even if she smokes the baby will get some of it. I an tell it when I would go down on the wife.

sounds like you have some type of infection. Go see a doctor.

You are eating too much acid-forming foods and not enough alkali-forming. Note: acid FORMING... etc so an orange is acidic, but alkaline to the digestive system. Google for more info.
