My period, please help, its so embarrising?

umm yeah well this is emmbarrsing sorry to take your time but i had my first period a month ago yesterday, and it hasnt come back yet. my friend said her first period was 4days long and the 1st time she had it it was 6months apart from the second 1. can this really happen and isit happening to me? btw, ive only had 1 period and it lasted 3days. thanks xx

yeah it's fine. i had my first period two years ago then didn't have another one untill four or five months later. dont worry about it chick.

its totaly normal hun, for about the first year your periods can be very scattered and un-predictable... its totally normal... don't freak out...

Hunni, its going to be irregular the first few years, weather its a few day late or 8 months, thats the way it is, your body is just testing different stuff out, so dont worry your normal!

its really normal for you not to have a regular period when you first start and it is nothing to worry about at all, in the first year of having it it will be irregular. it will regulate eventually. x

Periods are irregular for the first two years of having it. It should get regular in two years. if you are seriously worried see your doctor.

Yes it is normal because its your 1st one.  Yur body will regulate itself after a couple more periods, They may be irregular to start with.  I take it you are not sexually active???  Dont worry.

Your body will take a while to settle in and periods take time (even years) to settle down.  My cousin had her first period and didn't have another for a whole year!
