  1. RING A d**n BELL a ****** tampon!

  2. I thought I had heavy periods before, but for this period I bought a menstrual cup (Divacup) and I've found that even just a little bit of blood can make a huge mess. Like a tampon, a menstrual cup goes inside your v****a, but unlike other menstrual products it collects the fluid rather than absorbing it. After 12 hours, less if you are really heavy, you take it out and dump the blood in the toilet, then your rinse or wipe it out and put it right back in. It doesn't leak unless it gets overfull or is put in the wrong place. With the 12 hour limit you can put it in when you wake up and change it when you get home and not have to worry again until the next morning.

I've had great success. I also read alot on an LJ community which helped me in my decision.

  3. IF ITS THAT HEAVY TRY WEARING A TAMPON AND A PAD....CHANGE THE TAMPON AND PAD EVERY COUPLE OF HOURS THE TAMPON SHOULD HELP WITH THE EXTRA LEAKAGE YOU MIGHT HAVE

  4. If your periods are heavy, use an overnight pad with wings and change it every hour to prevent leaks.

  5. Well you change at least every hour and freshen up .You may want to try tampons if you don't want your pad seen ,Good luck

  6. Change it whenever you feel uncomfortable. At least 3 times a day.

  7. Change every three to four hours, or more often if it feels wet, or you notice an odor.
