My period lasted 5 hours - whats up with that?

My period started right on time as usual... (7:00 a.m) and finished at 3:00. Totally normal period, cramping and everything but no more bleeding. Any ideas of whats going on? My first 2 days are normally very heavy and usually my periods only last 3 or 4 days - but 6 hours? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

   its tottaly normal for that to happen every once in a while

You may have some sort of stress.Give it a little time everything will  not a robot.be alright.And don't expect to have your periods right on time.You are not a robot.
