  1. It's impossible to guess from the LMP. Ovulation is always around 14 days from your NEXT period, but not knowing when that will be, you can't predict at all. Your best bet would be to Google 'EWCM' and start keeping track of your CM. An alternative is to use OPKs but they could cost you a fortune if you had to use them for a year, so that's not a practical solution. Best of luck!

  2. I am also very irregular.  I have recently been reading a bunch about ovulation because I am TTC #2.  When you are so irregular it is SO hard to know when you ovulate.  It is not necessarily so that you will ovulate 14 days before your next cycle, this is the scenario when you have a 28 day cycle.  Your time of peak ovulation is about half way through your cycle which you will never be able to calculate currently.

The two best non-medical interventions that you can try are charting your basal body temperature and your cervical mucous.   There are plenty of free charts available on-line and your Dr can provide them also.

If you are interested in methods of intervention, I would suggest talking to your Dr. about a method of infertility treatment.  I am on another round of Clomid and I have been able to have success with it.  It is a very low level drug with few complications and mild side-effects.  I know some are negative about it, but for someone who is very irregular my Dr (fertility expert) feels that it is one of the best options.

If you are so irregular, I hope that you have at least consulted with a Dr.  I would want to be screened and especially to know if I had PCOS.

    Good Luck.
