  1. Okay I had the same problem for a couple months straight. Your body fluids could just be irregular. It will stop, And I know it is nerve racking but just give it time, honestly.

  2. I have to agree with Miss Goddess. I had REALLY heavy and prolonged periods that were caused by fibroids. My doctor had me get a D and C and a uterine ablation as well. I wouldn't suggest the ablation if you want to have kids though. That procedure cauterizes the lining of your uterus essentially stopping your periods for good.

  3. may be a hormone problem

  4. It could be nothing or it could be fibroids.   It is time to visit an OB/GYN doctor.   If you do not have one, then check with your regular doctor (and the site link below) and have him/her refer you to one.

Fibroids are not very serious but they do account for most prolonged and/or heavy periods.   Definitely get it checked out.  Also, make sure to get checked out by an OB/GYN doctor at least once a year.

    Good luck!
