My pet bats escaped, they were vampire bats. Should I worry?

I have a large cage in my backyard, 24 x24 x 24 ft cage for my 40 vampire bats. I am unsure how, but a large hole was cut in the back side of it. All but 8 bats escaped, do you think I should worry or they will be ok naturally? I live in north Texas, outside of Dallas.

Hope they are heading north and down to the dirty third.

You should be concerned... I am usure as to whether vampire bats are native to northern Texas (I dont think they are) but you have just introduced a non-native species into the environment.  I just hope that they dont reproduce.. This is a HUGE mistake.  Human error :(
