My pet bird....?

when I take him out of the cage he flies right on my head. If I take him off he just goes right back up there. How do I get him to stop?

  1. From what I have studied, a bird who attempts to stay above your head is attempting to rule over you.

    It is a power play. Some people convince their birds to "step up" and sit pretty on a stick.

    Keep taking him "down" and attempt to divert his attention by giving him a new mystery or puzzle for him to solve.


  2. dye your hair, maybe the bird likes your head a lot

  3. Try putting the bird on your shoulder. Once he's on your shoulder give him a treat fast. That way he will want to go to your shoulder for another treat, instead of your head. Hope that helps.
